Portfolio 4 : Boxed Dancers Series, 2003-4
These innovative works enclose the moving figures much like butterflies
caught in amber. The figures are monotypes on paper mounted on a very fine,
slightly curved piece of plexiglass. The mounted prints are set in transparent boxes. As the viewer walks
around the work, the figures seem to shift and move with the viewer. All Boxed Dancers are 11.5 x 9.25 x 3.25 inches (29 x 23.5 x 8 cm).
