Portfolio 7 : Figurations, 1999 In 1999, Pnina returned to figure drawing resulting in mixed media works on paper and canvas. In a sense it was a return to her roots, since her artistic training was mainly figurative. Most of Pnina's teachers at the Bezalel Art Academy in Jerusalem were European with a strong humanistic tradition of German Expressionism.
