Czech artists in Canada / Canadian artists in the Czech Republic  I have
just returned from Prague, where I participated in an international art
exchange exhibition. This
exhibition in the historic Old Town Hall in the heart of Prague, includes five Canadians and three Czech artists. It continue until October 20th, 2004.  At the festive opening on October 6th,
guests enjoyed a most lavish buffet and wines. Speeches
were made by numerous dignitaries, including the Canadian Ambassador in Prague, the Mayor of the City of Prague, representatives of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce , the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs and others. During the ten
days we spent in Prague, we
had the opportunity to work
for a
few days in the studio of
Professor Boris Jirku at the University of Prague.  At
